  1. The Villa Caracol was amazing. From the moment we got out of our car we were in awe. From the blooming trees and palm trees at the entrance , through the villa and out the patio doors to the beach, wow. It is absolutely beautiful. There was lots of room, lots of privacy , wonderfully helpful staff . We will come again.

  3. The house is perfect and ideal location. I strongly advice Puerto Morelos: Small village between Cancun and concrete too noisy Playa Del Carmen. Villa Facing the sea is beautiful with the gentle sound of the waves every morning and the pool in front of the house. It is well maintained and spacious. Only (slight) downside, the beach in front of the house is not the most enjoyable because of algae. It did not really attract the kids who spent their time in the pool. Note: The route Cancun / Tulum is 5 minutes: It also makes travel for visits very practical.

    1. The ocean and reefs at Villa Caracol are living and healthy so seaweed and seagrass does grow and is washed ashore. The amount depends upon season and tide and sometimes there is very little. The sea grass is not unpleasant. It is odourless and not slimy. But if you prefer a seagrass-free beach, a five minute walk north or south takes you to cleared beaches. All beaches in Mexico are public so these are yours to use too.

  4. We just got back from a 2 week glorious stay at Villa Caracol. What’s not to like about this place!
From the calming blue sea to the inspiring sunrises with the palm tree silhouettes, the panorama is awesome. The warm on shore breezes off the Caribbean Sea have a calming soothing effect.
The Villa is beautifully appointed and leaves you wanting for nothing. It felt like it was our own private resort. Privacy and safety were not compromised; we often ventured into Puerto Morelos at night. Amenities are close by and you can choose from the local markets in Puerto Morelos or make a short trip to the bigger stores. The authenticity of rustic Mexico abounds. There are many attractions to visit within an hours’ drive.
We had a great time and will definitely return for another stay.
    See you again soon!
